When grown emersed, they&#039;re distinct, but also, Callitriche is an annual, which never survives the winter in our aquariums. Elatine americana keep on going! (That&#039;s been the experience of anyone I&#039;ve ever known who&#039;s collected a Callitriche species.)</description>
